Exactly. TM is SO easy to learn and practice. It is accessible to almost anyone. This simple daily practice has made a huge difference in my life.

Good luck with learning Transcendental Meditation. I have two children and they both learned TM, recently. I saw a lot of improvement. Happier, more relaxed, more mature, got along better with the other kids and their fiends. Can’t say enough about how much it helped.

@zahnersatz - Thanks, hope you have a great week too :)

@jammyman - I know a fair bit about TM already, my parents have both done it for 20 years. Will let everyone know how it goes

@hanna - Made sense to me, don't worry about it. No big revelations yet on the Zen front but you never know. It's Buddhist's that specialise in Zen so I'm mixing my codes a bit. I've studied Buddhism a little as I said, did it while I was in Sri Lanka. I'm full of hidden surprises :)

@Alex - There was no Yogic Flying and the instructor even said he doesn't believe in any that. It's a breakaway group from the main TM organisation that I've been to see. Very interesting, will report more next week.

Glad you learning Transcendental Meditation. I have been doing TM for years and have nothing but good effect from the twice-daily practice. It reduces stress, keeps me healthy and happy. And it is completely effortless to do, and so simple to learn. Please keep us posted on your progress.

Is the course at the Flying Yogic place mentioned in "Pies and Prejudice"? Apparently the school they work with is one of the best scoring schools in the area.

When I first saw the picture of that yogi, my first thought was that Richard Stallman has gone even further with his freedom ideology. But meditation... I don't it was that surprising news :P Hopefully you will find the zen. :)
